PLASTENORT chilean company adds another achievement of an international level

After 16 years experience, PLASTENORT, Its dedicated to the design, production and assembly of equipments, parts and pieces in Fiberglass Reinforced Plastics (FRP/GRP), our company has become an important manufacturer to national and international level of the mining industry, mostly about copper process.
According to Lautaro Mercado, Associate Manager of Plastenort, one of the products with greatest importance these days in the mining industry are the Solvent Extraction Plants manufacturing (SX) and their additional equipments. In Peru we have built the world largest Crystals Cooper Sulfate plant way SX, 2 SX Plants manufactured for Zambia, and last year we manufactured a Plant to the State Company, Comibol in Bolivia, whom at the moment are producing for the first time in their recorded history cathodes way SX.
This December 2010, we have signed a Contract for manufacture the first SX Plant and additional equipments that will operate in the Republic of Kazakhstan (former USSR), one of the most developed countries of central Asia.
Francisco Arancibia, Engineering & Development Manager indicates that along the last ten years we have consolidated knowledge which allowed us to implemented methods of production and assembly the SX Plants, that reduce the manufacturing times of the Project.
This permits us to develop our work since the Engineering to start-up of the Project of Solvent Extraction (SX) and to finalize with the incorporation of other equipment, to produce copper sulphate crystals or copper cathodes.
Finally Lautaro Mercado proposes: we are an alternative for the median and small mining industry offering a possibility to increase value to the mining activity, to be able to develop a business model that permit them to deliver to the market a finished product. This is interesting opportunity considered the copper price projected these days.
